Associate Professor in the area of Research Methods and Diagnosis in Education at the University of A Coruña (UDC), where she has developed her teaching and research career since 2011 (with two five-year teaching periods recognized and a six-year research period). International PhD from the Universidade da Coruña with outstanding cum laude and extraordinary award. Studies funded by third cycle grants from the Universidade da Coruña (2009-2010) and predoctoral contracts of the Galician Research Plan of the Xunta de Galicia (2011-2014). Degree in Psychopedagogy (UDC) and Diploma in Early Childhood Education (UDC). She has participated in scientific evaluation activities such as that performed as a vocal member of different committees of evaluation agencies (ANECA and ACSUG) and as an external reviewer in scientific journals of recognized prestige (Revista de Educación del Ministerio de España, Revista de Investigación Educativa, Revista Española de Orientación y Psicopedagogía, Estudios sobre Educación). She belongs to the research group "Bienestar y Vida Activa en Contextos Educativos (EUNOIA)", as well as to the Red Nacional de Investigación en Ocio "OCIOGUNE", Red Interuniversitaria de Profesorado de Orientación (RIPO) and to the Asociación Interuniversitaria de Investigación Pedagógica (AIDIPE). Within the Management she has held unipersonal positions in the Faculty of Education Sciences of the Universidade da Coruña as Vice-Dean of Quality (2016-present), Coordinator of the Open Degree in Social and Legal Sciences, Tutor of Attention to Diversity and Coordinator of the Tutorial Action Plan. Also unipersonal positions in the Associated Center of the UNED in A Coruña as Coordinator of the Center for Guidance and Employment (COIE) (2018-2021). She has taught in the Degrees of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education and Social Education as well as in the Degree and Master in Psychopedagogy in the Faculty of Education Sciences (UDC) and has been tutor in the Degrees of Pedagogy and Social Education (UNED). She has two excellent evaluations in the DOCENTIA program. Director of numerous advanced works of Master students (TFM) and Final Degree Projects (TFG). Teaching coordination of groups of students with Competitive Concurrence Grants: Scholarships for collaboration in Departments granted by the Ministry of Education, Secretary of State for Education (2019/2020 and 2017/2018) and by the Universidade da Coruña (2020/2021 and 2017/2018) in order to initiate them in research tasks linked to official studies and to facilitate their future professional and research orientation. In recent years he has focused his research activity on the study of the school welfare of children in schools in the Autonomous Community of Galicia from the perspective of students, teachers, families and guidance departments. She also has numerous works in two other lines of research in which she works: the evaluation of Higher Education since the implementation of the European Higher Education Area; and the analysis of the transition and insertion in the labor market of young people and vulnerable groups and / or at risk of social exclusion.
