Abstract

This paper seeks to analyze the ethical and philosophical consequences of the incorporation and useof technology resources within music education at Secondary School level. As the incorporation newtechnological resources tend to change methodologies and contents of music at secondary education,this article aims to put into question how these shifts affect the expectations of music learnings withincompulsory education. In order to analyze this influence, it is necessary to observe some educationaldimensions (aesthetics and privacy) in order to observe the philosophical and ethical consequencesof these new technological mediations. Thus, through an analysis of different ideas and educationalpractices which are often related to the use of technology within the classroom, this research seeks toachieve a collective critical reflection which allow to make new consensus about the benefits and limitsthat technologic resources should have within music learnings at school
