Resumen

Due to the impact that advertising has on people’s daily lives, and especially in adolescence, it’s important to consider it when designing education-oriented activities. First of all, this work seeks to investigate the possibilities offered by this communication tool to be studied in the music classroom in high school with the intention of increasing the critical awareness of the students, contextualizing the contents of the subject from their experiences. In this way, a transversal teaching proposal is presented that emphasizes the study options that these two disciplines have in common following the established curriculum.
