Abstract

The torque control of DC motors, permanent magnet motors and linear actuators has application in areas such as robotics, mechatronics and other mechanisms. It shows the theoretical development and numerical simulation of torque controllers for these motors by means of internal model controllers. The saturation of the motor is considered; with this restriction the proposed controller considers the effect of "windup" that produces bad performance or even the instability of the system in closed loop.
