Abstract

The objective of this work was to analyze the cognitive variables evaluated from the PASS model, through the Cognitive Assessment System DN: CAS. The results showed three types of cognitive performance: one group of students with low cognitive performance (51%), one with average cognitive performance (37%) and the third with high cognitive performance (12%). The most disturbed processes are attention, successive processing and planning. From the analysis of variance, the scale of planning and the complete scale (general cognitive performance) show significant differences in relation to academic performance.
