Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present an analysis of the structure of the tourist market in Galicia. We begin with the study of the main effects of tourist activity, focusing on the most immediate one: the development of the sector itself. With this goal, an analysis of the supply and demand in the tourist sector is carried out and, for the most recent years, data are disinte-grated, which allows for the deduction of the main features of this activity in Spain, and more precisely in Galicia
