Abstract

An eternal dream of mankind is to lose the influx of the force of gravity that holds him to the ground. Improving with training translates into relating more effectively to the force of gravity. The Specific State of Form (EFE) of any athlete leads to feeling lighter, more fluid, or elastic. Gravitational forces act on the athlete's body and, therefore, many of the training stimuli seek to implement or diminish the effect of this attraction. Training against resistances greater than those required by the sport’s specialty itself, throughout its sessions, represents a situation of hypergravity concentrated in the time of execution of the exercise. In addition to the use of large implements, the effects of adding smaller loads on ankles, wrists, waist, torso, thighs or proportionally distributed have also been researched. This paper presents the case of an international sprinter exposed to hypergravity throughout the waking and training time in a short microcycle adding the ideal weight with regards to the individual’s body mass and its controlled neuromuscular effect. The results justify the use of this constant stimulus.
