Novos datos de Briozoos en Galicia (NW España)

Abstract

No presente traballo inclúense os resultados do estudo de material recolectado en 68 localidades situadas ao longo de toda a costa galega (NW España), en profundidades que abranguen dende o intermareal ata os 249 m. Inclúense novos datos relevantes para un total de 54 especies. Amplíase o límite batimétrico inferior para 33 especies na costa galega. Certas especies, pouco citadas ata agora, como Chaperiopsis annulus, Omalosecosa ramulosa, Pentapora foliacea, Puellina venusta, Reteporella beaniana, Smittoidea reticulata ou Turbicellepora cantabra, resultan ser relativamente frecuentes ao longo de todo o noso litoral, pero en augas máis profundas que as prospectadas ata agora. Preséntanse ademáis novos datos de 21 especies antes descoñecidas na costa da Morte, sete na ría de Muros, e seis na ría de Arousa e no cabo Prior. É de destacar o número de especies atopadas por primeira vez no “Parque Nacional Marítimo-Terrestre das Illas Atlánticas de Galicia”, con 12 especies novas nas illas Cíes e catro na illa de Ons.
