Abstract

The adaptation of degrees to the European Space for Higher Education requires the reorientation of programming and teaching methodologies employed by focusing on student learning and encourage more active participation of the latter. In this work learning outcomes are assessed,since the implementation of the Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Electronics and Automatic Engineering in the Polytechnic University School of Ferrol (A Coruña University), of the 6 credits mandatory fourmonth subject “Environmental Engineering”. From the analysis of the results obtained, it follows that in the Degree in Electrical Engineering has increased by30% the number of students presented and 32% of students who pass the matter onfirst call. Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automatic Engineering has increased by9% the number of students presented and 25% of students who passed the subject. When analyzing the qualifications, there are differences in student performance depending on the degree, getting generally better students of the Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automatic Engineering.
