Resumen

The deterioration of the integrity of the skin and tissues involved in the development of an ulcer, reduces the quality of life of those affected, decreases its autonomy and involves an increase in morbidity and even mortality underlying, which in turn imply a high socio-economic cost. Health education, is an effective tool to improve the level of autonomy of the patients, decrease the risk of this type of problems and promote the involvement of patients and relatives in the prevention and treatment of the problem, without hardly consume resources beyond time and involvement of health care professionals.
