Aliança terapêutica em terapia familiar: Teoria, investigação e prática clínica

Resumen

This article is a synthesis of the oral communication made at the XXXIX National Conference of Family Therapy in Santiago de Compostela and begins with a theoretical review of what we know about the therapeutic alliance in psychotherapy in general and in conjoint therapies (i.e. family and couple therapy) in particular. In a second moment, the main results and conclusions of the research we carried out on the therapeutic alliance with (in)voluntary families are explained, thus emphasizing what we have discovered with these empirical studies. Finally, the third part of the article consists of an integrative synthesis of implications and procedures for clinical practice, with the aim of promoting the process of coconstruction of the therapeutic alliance in family therapy with (in)voluntary clients, thus describing what we do with what we know and discover.
