Abstract

This work is the continuation of the Project initiated within the UMI UDC-Navantia for the implementation of IoT technology within the shipyard. This article presents the application of this technology to a shipyard workshop. This second phase of this work consisted of sensing element of the workshop and connecting the information systems of the shipyard, to launch an IoT pilot that would allow evaluating the benefits of implementing this technology in a productive environment. An application has been developed that shows the information that needs both the operator and the person in charge of the workshop, to carry out their work. This user-Oriented information includes materials and operations of work orders, 3D models or status and consumption of workshop equipment. The critical points of this implementation are the capture of data in a complex productive environment and the connectivity between previous management systems.
