Resumen

Smart, sustainable and green cities are presented as the new paradigms far the transformation of today's cities, supported by the application of communication technologies, and in the consideration of sustainability, and in green infrastructure, to dea/ with the problems of urban concentration in large cities. Although the challenges posed by cities are more complex than those that define these subtitles, they refer to problems of housing, social inequality, etc., which translate into the different urban fabrics with which cities have grown, the three approaches , individually or in addition, allow us to address both the analysis and the strategic responses (translated in the dec/arations of the New Urban Agendas), solutions to urban quality and habitability, to which an increasing number of cities they are incorporating, not only in the cities of the developed countries, but in the rest we find new urban fabrics that are also adapted to these answers. From the invisibility and virtuality of the transformations of communication networks, to the sustainability of cities, with their effects on natural resources, there is still a long way to go in which green in the urban environment appears as a fundamental reference for the transformation of the current city from the planning, the urban project, the urbanization project.
