La perspectiva de alumnado de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria acerca de la utilización del teatro como recurso educativo

Abstract

Despite the possibilities of theatre, the use of this tool linked to the educational activity is not widespread in the Spanish educational context. However, there are teachers who opt for training in the educational applications of this resource and integrate it into their classes. In this sense, we want to find out the perspective of students when the theatre is used in the classroom. For this reason, in the present project we want to know and consider the views of a group of students of Secondary Education who were participants in an innovative experiment conducted by a professor of Spanish language and literature with a long career with the theatre. To do this, we conducted a qualitative study. The techniques used for data collection were: interviews and document analysis. The results show that the use of this innovative tool allows, on the one hand, break with conventional classroom environment and, secondly, create an ideal space for learning, creativity and socialization.
