Resumen
El presente trabajo se sitúa en el ámbito de la socioeconomía para abordar uno de los determinantes del desarrollo económico, analizando en concreto la evolución reciente de la dotación de capital social en Galicia. Partiendo de una delimitación básica del concepto de capital social, se extraen las principales conclusiones de los resultados de las tres oleadas de la Encuesta Mundial de Valores realizadas en Galicia. Junto a eso, se estima una función de los determinantes micro de la confianza generalizada. En conjunto, se observa un proceso de descapitalización en todos los indicadores, tanto en términos de confianza como de asociacionismo.
