"Todo un lujo de barbarie"reflexiones sobre un doble asesinato

Resumo
En el presente trabajo se examina el curioso iter procesal que tuvo el enjuiciamiento de un doble asesinato acaecido en 2008. En una primera sentencia, el acusado fue absuelto por el tribunal del jurado, por la concurrencia no ya de una, sino de hasta dos eximentes: la de legítima defensa y la de miedo insuperable. Anulada dicha sentencia por el Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Galicia, al entenderla carente de motivación racional, una segunda sentencia de un Tribunal de jurado distinto, condena al acusado, enfatizando que se había tratado de un �lujo de barbarie�. La tesis mantenida en este comentario es que prejuicios sociales enraizados profundamente en la mentalidad ciudadana influyeron en tan diversos enfoques de unos mismos hechos.
