Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new hypothesis of reconstruction of the Etemenanki, a ziggurat built by Nebuchadnezzar II of Babylone, better known through the Biblical tradition as the Babel Tower. This hypothesis has as main contributions: a lesser height of the building (66 m instead of the usual 90 m), new accesses and the layout of the temple on the top
