Resumo

The new bridge "As Correntes" connects the two banks of the river Lérez, in turn allowing the connection of road traffic in the city of Pontevedra to the AP-9 motorway. The solution chosen provides a typology of arch bridge intermediate board, with double bow section parallel lattice and composite deck acting as bow tie. The bridge consists of a single span 116.00 m long and a total length of 138.50 m. Each of the arches has such a guideline that is located under the dash in about 12.50 meters at the ends of the bridge and on the board in the central 91,00 meters. One of the most interesting features and greater consequences from the functional point of view is traffic segregation, with road, pedestrian and cyclist traffic on different platforms.
