Revisión y análisis del hormigón reciclado a partir de la elaboración de una base de datos internacionalpropiedades mecánicas

Abstract

This study is in the context of the concrete field produced with recycled aggregates. It tries to collect the scientific knowledge that, until nowadays, there is about the structural recycled aggregate concrete, developing a database that includes the experimental results of the research conducted in an international scale in the recycled aggregate concrete basic properties field. Those studies in which the recycled concrete aggregate is used and the recycled aggregate concrete dosage is the same than the conventional control concrete (equal relation water/cement) have been incorporated. The database has been created from the selection of 67 papers. A total of 1644 mixtures have been obtained. The treatment of this database allows to analyse the influence of the main variables that modify the behaviour in fresh and hardened state of recycled aggregate concrete in a generalist way. The mixing procedure influence and the substitution percentage of coarse conventional aggregate by coarse recycled aggregate are evaluated in a specific way. The results obtained allow proposing specific expressions for the recycled aggregate concrete sections structural design that can be incorporated to the current standards.
