Abstract

There are some software resources that can reduce the learning time, in particular, Engineering Equation Software improves learning and understanding thermodynamics of real thermodynamic cycles. Combining the subjects of two grade materials, Maritime Services and Energy Techniques Applied to the Ship, a student has been guided to develop an on-board evaporator simulator. Which has served to assess the ability of the student to deal with problems arising from the operation of the equipment, acquiring the necessary knowledge about its operation, and the knowledge and understanding of the thermodynamic phenomena that occur in it. With this claim, as a test, a student has been proposed to perform an End-of-Grade Work. The final result has been the implementation of the End of Grade Work in which the student has demonstrated a better application of the knowledge acquired by developing the simulator of a freshwater generator of a ship. The final objective is the materialization of this form of work in the two mentioned subjects and to bring to light the advantages in the learning of collaboration among different subjects and teachers.
