Abstract
Curriculum at universities has been adapted to incorporated new grades. After their introduction, it‘s time to analyze the problems found and adopt strategies to solve them. This paper is focused in the main weakness detected in several subjects in the Computer Science Grade in the University of A Coruña: high level of absenteeism and drop out. Causes of both problems are examined whereas some solutions are presented using approximations tested in different Spanish universities.
