Resumen

Most predictive models of procnvironmental behavior have suffered from a low explanatory capacity. Among the causes argued to explain this fact are the differences existing between different proenvironmental beha,·iors, and the existence of indi,·idual differences in their assessment. To check this issue, a multidimensional analysis of the assessments made by a sample of subjects about the characteristics of thrce classical procm·i ronmental behaviors (separation, reduction and recycling of waste) was carried out. The grouping \'ariablcs were the self-perceived efficacy and responsibility. Results showed the existence of differences between the reduction behavior and the rcst, and also an effect of self-perceived efficacy on the assessments madc by the subjects.
