Resumo
Bibliosaúde is the virtual library of the Galician public health care system to support the healthcare, teaching and research activity. Many and varied are the resources offered: access to different databases, journals collections, electronic books, monographs and or other tools of great interest for the professional, such as clinical calculators, references managers or image banks, among others. Bibliosaúde offers a range of services such as books and journals catalogue from the Galician Healthcare System network of libraries. The option “Article request” allows asking for items not available through the platform to your reference library or training. Bibliosaúde has its own search engine, called Mergullador, which offers access to those resources outside the institution. Bibliosaúde’s resources and services have continuously been increasing. In this process of constant improvement, there are several working proposals planned in the near future.
