Abstract
The protection of personal character data is a right that you/they have all the citizens to that its personal data are not used on the part of third without the due authorization. The basic legislation that he/she should know any entity that treats data of personal character is the Organic Law 15/1999, which recognizes the Spanish citizens some rights in the treatment of its personal data that he/she forces the holders of the files to complete certain guarantees. In this article we seek to analyze and to describe the current situation with respect to the grade or level of execution of the legislation as regards protection of data in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja
