Sustainable development goals

Abstract

From being a country of emigration, Spain has become quickly an important focus of immigrants who settle in their cities. In times of crisis and uncertainty, the study of this human movement often is confi ned to its impact on social and labor market. However, from a psychosocial perspective, the presence of immigrants, leads to refl ection on the different, coexistence and values, and multiculturalism. This article discusses the importance of social relations, ruling between native and foreign population from the existing urban and residential settings. Tajfel´ social identity theory offers us new elements for debate.
