Perfiles motivacionales como combinación de expectativas de autoeficacia y metas académicas en estudiantes universitarios

Resumen
Adoptando un enfoque centrado en la persona, el presente trabajo de investigación tiene como principal objetivo identificar posibles perfiles motivacionales basándose en la combinación de metas académicas (orientadas al aprendizaje y orientadas al rendimiento) y expectativas de autoeficacia. Bajo la hipótesis de que la implicación del alumno no solo depende de la combinación de metas de aprendizaje sino también del nivel de expectativas de autoeficacia, se encuesta a 1858 estudiantes de cinco universidades públicas españolas (con una media de edad de 21 años) y distintas titulaciones. En la línea de investigaciones previas, los resultados indican que el perfil en el que predominan las metas de aprendizaje está asociado a mejores resultados que otros. Sin embargo, los resultados de esta investigación añaden información nueva, lo que sugiere que las expectativas de autoeficacia tienen un papel central en la relación entre metas y rendimiento.
