Abstract

We summarize the preliminary results of a study of algal communities involved in fouling. The communities colonized plates submerged for 6 months in the ria of Vigo. In addition to the floristic composition of these communities, interesting in some cases, we report the month-by-month fixation of organisms and the evolution of the communities which developed during the study period.
