Estudio y construcción de la responsabilidad social a través del Grado en Turismo

Abstract

The book Libro Blanco del Título de Grado en Turismo is a guide which includes aspects considered fundamental for the design of the Degree in Tourism in Spain. In such document, it is considered important to discuss about economic development of tourism, relating it to the sustainability of the sector. In this sense, the possibility of the University to conceive professionals prepared to face a more critical and responsible society, both personally and professionally, is also discussed. The work is structured in five sections. In the first section, the introduction presents the first impressions and goals of the study. The second reports a briefing review of the impacts of tourism, the sustainability of the sector / environment and its relationship with social responsibility. The third discusses the presence of the subject of study in the guide used by universities to design their memories of the tourism degrees in Spain. The fourth section proposes directions towards a better implementation of the subject matter questioned in tourism courses. In addition, it reaches the final considerations regarding the problem of the study.
