The aim of the present Doctoral Dissertation is to analyze the consequences of parental divorce on the physical health, the psychological, and social adjustment, and the academic performance of children, as well as the impact of the socioeconomic status of the family. The results show that parental divorce can be a risk factor for children’s wellbeing.
